Longford Weekly Update

Dear Residents and Local Businesses,

Here is your weekly update from your local neighbourhood Policing Team, to let you know some of what we've been busy dealing with: 

PATROLS

Our officers have been carrying out high visible patrols across the area, paying particular attention to areas that have been reported to have had a recent increase in crime or anti-social behaviour. 

ARRESTS

One person was arrested by officers on our team for breaching a community Order. 

BURGLARY

One car key burglary was reported on Lentons Lane overnight 14th-15th July. Offenders broke into the house to steal car keys and then stole the vehicle off the driveway.

VEHICLE CRIME

A theft of vehicle was reported on Roseberry Avenue between the 8th-15th July.

STREETWATCH & COMMUNITY SPEEDWATCH

We have now set up a Streetwatch in the Little Heath area of Longford. We are always looking for more volunteers to get involved within the Longford and Bell Green areas.

We are also looking to set up a Community Speedwatch group in the Longford and Bell Green area. If you are interested, please reply to the message and I can get back to you with further information.
